HIKE & FLY

Have you ever dreamed, after reaching the summit of a mountain, to simply spread your wings and fly ? This is the perfect tandem for mountain lovers: it combines the fun of hiking up to a wild and preserved summit with the thrill of using a paraglider to fly back down to the starting point. In addition to your paragliding instructor who you will fly with on the way down, a certified mountain leader will accompany us to lead the hike and answer your questions about the fauna, flora, and geological heritage of our mountain range.

This tandem is for athletic individuals who are accustomed to hiking with positive elevation gain ranging from 700 to 1500 meters. We will decide on the difficulty of the hike together based on your desires and physical abilities. You will need to carry a small backpack for your personal belongings (picnic, water, warm clothing, etc.), but your instructor will carry the paraglider.

Hike & fly experiences are possible all year round but require specific conditions. That is why it is necessary to call or Whatsapp us to determine together the right time slot: +33 (0)7 48 90 40 50.

We will most likely need to wake up early to take advantage of the calm morning air for the flying part.

In the Bauges mountain range, a paradise for hiking and flying! We will decide on a summit together based on your physical abilities and the weather forecast.

We are going for a hike in the mountains, so you will need to be dressed accordingly: hiking shoes, fleece, down jacket, windbreaker, gloves and sunglasses are needed. A spare t-shirt to change into before flying down, water and snacks are also important.

You should allocate a full morning for a tandem hike & fly. The hiking part will take 2 to 4 hours, plus some breaks along the way to stop and enjoy the scenery. The flight will last between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the elevation we climbed on the way up.

Would you like to try steering the paraglider? Do you want a flight with more thrills? No problem, it's all included!

If you're up for it and flying conditions allow, we will let you take over the controls and make your first turns in the sky. Your instructor may also perform some aerobatics. In any case, the instructor will follow your instructions and adapt your flight according to your desired comfort or adrenaline level.

The photos and videos are included in the price of this flight. This way, you will be able to share this experience with your friends and family.
