We are located between Annecy, Chambéry/Aix-les-Bains and Albertville, on the border between Savoie and Haute-Savoie. We have access to many launch sites in the heart and on the outskirts of the Bauges mountain range. This allows us to select the location with the best flying conditions for the day of your paragliding tandem.
Although we can give you a general estimate of where we will be flying on the day of your tandem a few days in advance, as the weather can be unpredictable, we will confirm our meeting spot the night before. Please remain flexible so that you can join us at the right location on the day of your flight.
Launch sites near Annecy
Semnoz
The Semnoz is our preferred launch, just 10 km from Annecy and 20 km from Aix-les-Bains. There is a ski resort at its summit, a popular one for families living in Annecy. It’s easily accessible by car or bus, and its 360° view of Mont Blanc, the Bauges mountain range and the Albanais plain make it a prime location for a paragliding tandem experience in Haute-Savoie.
Because the Semnoz launch is west-facing, you will have a very scenic view of the Chéran plain during your paragliding flight. Flying down nearly 1000 meters from launch to landing, it’s the ideal location for calm morning flights. It’s also an exceptional summit from which to admire the intense colors just before sunset.
Because the ski resort and its vast parking lots are less crowded in the summer season, we will meet at the top of the mountain. You will join us directly at the launch, where you can observe the paragliders taking off before it’s time for your tandem. If needed, we will bring you back to the top of the mountain with our shuttle after your tandem.

Whether we fly from the Sapenay, the Belvédère du Revard, the Sire, or Vérel, you will enjoy exceptional views over Lac du Bourget, the valley stretching from Chambéry to Aix-les-Bains and all the surrounding mountains !
Col du Sapenay
North of Lac du Bourget, just 15 km from Aix-les-Bains, we will meet at the landing site in Chindrieux. We will take you up to the Col du Sapenay in our shuttle. This launch for paragliders and hang gliders is on top of Cessens mountain, on the east shore of Lac du Bourget. It offers one of the most beautiful panoramas for a tandem flight in Savoie, along with great flying conditions on windy days because of its relatively low altitude.
Once in the air, we will fly over the Rhône Valley and the majestic cliffs surrounding the Lac du Bourget. On one side, you will see the lake stretching all the way to Chambéry, rimmed by the Massif du Chat on the west. On the other side, you will have exceptional views of the Pays de Chautagne and the Grand Colombier. On clear days, we can often see all the way to the Monts du Lyonnais mountain range and if we can go up in altitude, Mont Blanc might reveal itself behind the Bauges and Aravis mountain ranges.
Belvédère du Revard
The Belvédère du Revard is a historic landmark of the region; it is where the very first ski resort in France was born. Nestled on the heights of Aix-les-Bains, also known as the “Riviera des Alps” and only 15 km from Chambéry, it offers a breathtaking panorama directly from the launch.
Once in the air, we will fly over the cliffs leading to Le Sire and the Croix du Nivolet. You will see the city of Aix-les-Bains from above, and the Lac du Bourget rimmed by the iconic Dent du Chat on the opposite shore. Further south, you will see the skyline of the Chartreuse mountain range. With a bit of altitude, the summits of the Bauges mountain range will appear, with Mont Colombier and the stunning cliffs of the Margériaz in the foreground. If conditions allow, Mont Blanc might even peek on the horizon.
After this very scenic tandem flight, the sky above Aix-les-Bains and the Lac du Bourget will no longer have any secrets for you !

The launch sites in the Combe de Savoie
Halfway between Albertville and Chambéry, these two launch sites are located in the Combe de Savoie, a vast plain bordering the Isère river. The fact that they hosted the Paragliding World Championships in 2023, a competition bringing together the best pilots from around the globe, is no coincidence. These launch sites offer ideal conditions for a paragliding tandem flight in Savoie.
Montlambert
Only 25 minutes from Chambéry and Albertville, this launch often hosts events of the Paragliding World Cup. Its great flying conditions and geographical location in the heart of the Combe de Savoie make it an exceptional site for paragliding tandems in Savoie. This place is ideal for morning flights, as its eastward exposure allows us to fly in thermal conditions from 11am!
Once in the air, you will have a great view over the plain called the « Combe de Savoie », which stretches along the shores of the Isère river for about forty kilometers from Montmélian to Albertville. Bordered by the Bauges mountain range to the north (with the beautiful cliff face of L’Arclusaz in the foreground) and the higher altitude Belledonne range to the south, you will have exceptional views all around.
